"Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer...." Ansel Adams
|
You will notice that the majority of my photographs are taken on the coast of Northern Ireland, and further to that , most are taken on the County Antrim coast, and with good reason. The coast is one of the most rugged and impressive in Europe, and when that ruggedness is combined with variable weather and stormy seas, the conditions for landscape photography are superb.

Whilst most of Northern Ireland's landscape is managed farmland, in stark contrast to the rugged coast, there are still plenty of beautiful places to visit. The Mourne Mountains in the south-east are the most obvious example, but there are lots of smaller places scattered throughout the country.
