Hello, and welcome to my photography website.

I am a Northern Ireland based amateur landscape photographer. I first discovered my passion for landscape photography in Germany several years ago. I went on a trip to the Bavarian Alps with my first camera, and was captivated by the dramatic scenery, fascinated by the ‘instantaneousness’ of the digital medium. I am entirely self-taught, and over the years I have studied the technical theory behind photography, whilst attempting to allow my creative side to flourish.

Although I photograph all sorts of subjects, my areas of focus are the Irish coast and the Irish landscape. I enjoy nothing more than standing knee deep in the waves, camera and tripod in hand! I take great pride in my photographs, and like to think my images show the locations at their very best. I often wait many hours for the ‘right light,’ and go to great lengths to get technically sound, and compositionally strong images.
